About

Hi, I’m Jana! I’m in my gap year before dental school, working as a dental assistant in private practice and helping out at community care clinics. I also run a nonprofit that started during the pandemic, when I began sewing and donating reusable masks. It has since grown to include scrub caps, chemo caps, and menstrual kits for communities that need them most.

Outside of clinical work, I’m involved in research, from studying how microplastic exposure affects plant development to looking at how adolescent alcohol use impacts the brain.

When I’m not working, you can usually find me shopping for trinkets, exploring new cafés, or taking art classes at a local studio.

I graduated from Vanderbilt University with a B.S. in Cognitive Studies, Child Development, and Medicine, Health, and Society, with a minor in Psychology.
